- One problem tied to a named decision-maker and an outcome that can be demonstrated or decided, not an open-ended innovation theme.
- A signed scope
- The output, budget, dates, responsibilities, participant status, cancellation path, and success test are agreed before any retreat is presented as confirmed.
- Security and IP
- No confidential information enters a public form. NDA, permitted data, repository access, device policy, privacy, security boundaries, and IP ownership are set per engagement.
- Custom economics
- Venue, travel, food, facilitation, builder compensation, bounty, and contingency are quoted separately. No public package price is implied here.
